Proud to be a Warrior

This past week was the week I had been looking forward to for some time. You see, my Dad was named the head coach of the North Squad of the Indiana High School Coaches Association - All-Star Game. He was in Indy all week practicing at the University of Indianapolis. It was a HOT week but they managed to keep everyone healthy for the most-part. We went down to U of I on Tuesday to watch practice and deliver some goodies for the team.

Here are a few pictures from practice:

Thursday, we headed to the banquet. It was nice and the food was yummy. Each player was introduced and Dad talked briefly about their week.

Here are a few pictures of the banquet:

The game was Friday evening. We tailgated before the game but I forgot to take pictures, darn it!

Amelia is ready for the game!

A lot of Warrior fans were in the stands supporting Dad and Zach!

The first half of the game was HOT! I can't imagine how the guys were feeling. Yuck! Thankfully, in the second half, it was "cooler." We held our own in the first but then in the second half the South didn't follow the rules and rushed the kicker several times (officials didn't call them out for it) and were able to score off our turnovers. Either way, the experience was one we will cherish forever!

Here are a few pictures of the game and post-game:

The girls were so excited to see Papa after the game!

Huddy was to but he was so tired...and hungry!

So proud!

Coach Radtke & Dad
Oh the stories they could share!
Below are pictures of Dad's assistant coaches for the week.
They each came up to him and thanked him for all that he had done. So many of them
thanked him for not only being a great coach but making an impact on their lives.
He is not only a good coach but a GREAT man!

Dad received the game ball!

We are so proud of Dad for all of his accomplishments. He has touched so many at so many levels. Congratulations, Dad!
Love,
