Our Birthday - Baptism Bash

This past weekend we got to celebrate two very special occasions, Hudson's Baptism at our church, Saint Mary's and the girls' 3rd birthday. It was a very busy and exciting day. I don't know who crashed harder when we finally laid down at the end of the day - mom or the girls?

So many family members made the drive down. THANK YOU! To be able to celebrate with our Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Siblings, Parents, Nieces, Nephews and Friends means the world to us. We are truly blessed to have so many loving people in our lives!

The weather was perfect and the celebrations were just as wonderful. Hudson was welcomed into the Catholic Church with two AWESOME Godparents, Chad Hinton and Melissa Haas. These two individuals are wonderful friends of ours and perfect leaders of faith for our son. Both are kind, loving, smart and driven individuals. Thank you, Melissa and Chad for being a part of Hudson journey in faith! I know that he will be a better person because of the both of you.

After the Baptism celebration, we headed home and started to celebrate Brennley and Amelia's 3rd Birthdays. How is that possible? I feel like they were just born. They were the size of peanuts then but now are two very different but very similar girls - both are sweet, loving, independent, determined girls. Amelia seems more understanding and laid back (most days) while Brennley is more bossy and dramatic. No matter how they are, they are wonderful. I can't imagine life without them. They bring so much joy to our lives - EVERY - SINGLE - DAY!

What a Weekend!!!!

This past weekend was so much fun. For me, it started on Thursday when Shane surprised me with tickets to the Jim Brickman concert for my birthday. Thanks Babe! It was a great show. He is very talented. We used a lot of his music for our wedding ceremony so the show was extra special.
Friday, we just vegged out at home. Resting up for the weekend.
Saturday my family came down to help get ready for the girls' baptism celebration and to celebrate my birthday - the big 3-0! We cooked, cleaned, shopped and just spent time together. There is NOTHING better than family time. Thank you for all your help and birthday gifts!
Sunday was VERY special. The girls were baptized into the Catholic Church. It was such a wonderful ceremony. Amelia was baptized first. Her Godparents are my sister Sara and our very good friend Josh Pfledderer. Brennley's Godparents are my brother, Parker and Shane's sister, Summer. After mass, we celebrated back at the house with family and friends. Thanks to all of them for making the trip down. It was a great time!
