So behind...

If I haven't posted since the girls' 4th birthday, I am sooo behind. Hopefully those of you that check the blog also follow me/us on Facebook or Instagram to get your Ledford fix ;). Here is a quick update to get us to the start of 2014...

October
Obviously celebrated the girls' 4th birthday - My Little Pony, of course! They are truly blessed in so many ways. I know that they feel the love from friends and family. I hope one day they can look back and understand just how special they are!

We continued to follow Dad's Warriors into the tournament. It was a great year for the Warriors. While we were all depressed that the season ended just shy of the State Finals, we are extremely proud ALL the accomplishments from this year. Way to go Warriors!

We didn't officially trick-or-treat due to weather but the kids still enjoyed dressing up as princesses and a very cute cowboy.

November
The girls continue to LOVE preschool. They wish they could go more but I'm sure eventually that will change. We enjoyed a day at the Children's Museum...one of the kiddos favs.

Thanksgiving was different this year. We actually planned to stay home because Hudson was extremely sick that week. However, we did make a quick trip up to Fort Wayne to spend it with Sara, Jesse & Aiden. It was great to see their new house and be with family.

Thanksgiving weekend is ALWAYS spent in Indy watching games at the State Finals and shopping. NOT THIS YEAR. We couldn't pull ourselves together to watch Tri-Central because we believed (and still do) that we should be charging the field. Warrior Up!

December
Shane and the kiddos made my birthday very special with dinner, an awesome cake ;) and a remote start for the van. Awesome! Our dear friends, the Haas', came up from southern Indiana for the weekend. Again, we spent some time at the Children's Museum and enjoyed the Christmas Pirate Show. So fun!

December flew by with 6 Christmas'. It's absolutely crazy and exhausting at the same time! We started on the 21st with the Ledford Christmas and then the Litke Christmas in the evening. On Christmas Eve, we had Christmas with Shane's immediate family and drove home that night so the kids could have Christmas at our house in the morning. We headed back up north on the 27th for Christmas with my family and then the Roth's and Webb's that weekend. Again, absolutely exhausting but fun to be with everyone!

Dad also had his check-up with his leg (cancer) doctor. I was actually able to go to the appointment. They took 3 tissue samples and will actually be removing a "tumor" later this month. We'll know more once it is removed but at this time, it seems manageable.

We ended the year with our dear friends, the Hinton's with pizza and catching up. After they left, we put the kiddos to bed. The girls asked if we could lay down with them. We NEVER do but agreed to...just because. We feel asleep and woke up well after the ball drop...oops! Luckily, we felt GREAT the next morning and had a productive day taking down Christmas and getting the house back to "normal."

Now that we are in the new year, we look forward to spending time with family and friends, hopefully getting away on a little much needed getaway, hopefully moving and continuing to enjoy life. We are so thankful for our blessings and look forward to what God has in store for us.

May God bless you and yours!
Love,
